Our courses have language at their heart - with core modules developing the key oral, aural and written skills in each year.  At the same time, you will be encouraged to explore and pursue your own interests.

All our 4-year language degrees include a year abroad, providing a valuable opportunity to immerse yourself in German culture and enhance your language skills. Spend your third year working or studying in a German-speaking country before returning to ÐãÉ«Ö±²¥ for your final year.

We offer learning in small classes, where you get to know the staff and your fellow students in a friendly environment. Our dedicated Modern Languages centre and translation equipment provide excellent resources for your studies. Additionally, we offer beginner-level German options for many of our degrees, making it accessible to students of all levels.
